It was well below freezing with the wind chill today and nearly all the schools were closed. I had a very productive day. I finished two of Ali's Weekend Creative projects (will post tomorrow), made an album for my Project 365 photos, and sorted, cleaned, and reorganized all my embellishment drawers. I didn't read any fifth grade essays, but they will still be there tomorrow!
Someone once said that reorganizing was important because you find all that you have -- and forgot about. So true. I moved all my buttons out of my color drawers and into the embellishment drawers (by color, of course). So much better.
And a few more views of the clean and organized study:
These are the drawers with paper, office supplies, and rubber stamps that sit in the closet under the hanging drawers from The Container Store.
One of my best buys from The Container Store. These shelves hold so much and utilize an otherwise wasted space.
And a little peek at the new boxes from Target that hold chipboard, journaling labels, epoxy embellishments, mini-albums to do, rub-ons, felt & fabric, and letter & word stickers. I bought these a week ago and sorting all those items has made finding the right thing for a layout or a card so much easier.
February vacation is always a time when I clean and reorganize. I didn't expect to do it this year because we'll be away for a lot of next week. . . but here it is: DONE before we leave!
